Denton County Texercise Two-Step

Background

What’s Denton County Texercise Two-Step? It’s an exciting new way to get moving, get fit or stay fit, and eat right. Whether you prefer getting started at home or in the company of others, we have activities that are right for you.

As a project of the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services, Texercise is a public service. There are no fees to join Texercise (although some of our partners may charge for certain programs), and rewards for those who participate on a regular basis.  So why wait? Put on your sneakers, grab an apple, and take some steps to a healthier you.

But don’t take our word. Take the word of Albert Gooding, a SilverSneakers participant.  Five months after starting an exercise program, he boasts, “I have lost a few pounds and gained muscle where none existed before. I am able to do things I have not done for years, such as kneeling and getting up. I feel better emotionally, as well as physically.”
