Texercise is a program of the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS)
Texercise-Dallas was founded in the spring of 2005 and is comprised of state and local organizations committed to developing an exciting new way to get moving, eat right and stay fit. We serve as a resource to Texans of all ages, offering educational events to help motivate the community with the long-term goal of adopting a healthier lifestyle. Whether you want to get started at home or in the company of others, we have activities that are right for you.
Texercise–Dallas is a public service. There are no fees to join Texercise–Dallas; however, some of our partners may charge for certain programs. Don’t wait, come participate and earn rewards to a better you, better health and a better lifestyle. We challenge Texans to become physically fit by offering education, exercise and motivational activities.

Seniors encouraged to get physical
Fan Benno-Caris is a remarkable lady. She is soon to be 89 years old and is in great physical shape, or so says her physician for more than 20 years, Dr. Ken Cooper of the Cooper Institute.
